In the early years, the brain forms connections that set the stage for life long learning, behaviour and health. The Ontario Early Years Centre serves parents and caregivers of children from birth to age 6 in Kingston & the Islands, regardless of income, culture or special needs. The Centre provides advice on parenting, healthy child development and provides organized programs for children and their caregivers. The Ontario Early Years Centre is a place where you can: · get answers to questions about child development · get information about programs and services that are available for young children in the community · talk to early years professionals Parents needing child care can call or visit the Centre for information on licensed home and centre-based child care available in the area.  Screening information is also available to parents to assist them when making a decision. All Services are Free of Charge
