The Ontario Early Years Centre is committed to responding to the needs of parents, caregivers and young children, in partnership with the community, to encourage healthy child development and positive outcomes for all.

Goals for All Programs

to promote quality child care
to provide child care that is affordable and flexible
link families with community resources and services
provide resources to be used in the home
to help educate parents to maintain quality child care
promote professionalism of staff and caregivers
to identify gaps in child care services
provide children with a stimulating and safe environment
encourage children's optimum development through a variety of early learning opportunities
Early Childhood Centres and Nursery Schools staffed with qualified professionals
offer quality child care with the flexibility that parents need
